LONDON – A Turkish Crypto Exchange is offline and the CEO of it has reportedly gone missing, more than thousands of investors are in worry as they seem their invested money has been stolen. A Turkish-based crypto company namely Thodex has been closed temporarily to indicate an unnatural fluctuation in the accounts of the company. It has been stated on this company’s official website to disclose the issue.
According to a local report, the founder of Thodex, Faruk Faith Ozer has futtered to Albania, with a $2 billion investors fund. A photo has published by Demiroren News Agency, that showing Ozer is just leaving the Airport of Istanbul. A criminal complaint report has registered against Ozer by a lawyer who said Thodex possessed 400,000 users where almost 390,000 accounts were active. The allegation has however disputed, saying 30,000 have only been impacted by the report and situation about $2 billion losses are undiscovered.
Anadolu Agency opines that the authorities of Turkey have recently issued an International warrant finding Ozer’s arrest. 62 people have already been detained by the Police in different eight cities to find Ozer including in Istanbul. Thousands and more Thodex account holders have filed complaints against this company as those investors cannot access their accounts and worrying about their savings might irreversible. A few citizens of Turkey have become to crypto as a path to secure their savings from the high inflation rate and emerging of the Turkish lira.
