World’s leading search engine company, Google is all set to roll out two new settings for users to disable smart features and personalization in Gmail. Users can use these settings for disabling smart features such as automated sorting of primary and social emails. The new features will also let users to disable the display of summary cards and smartly compose emails while writing a new email.
Personalization features such as Google Assistant can also be disabled by users and this shall easily notify them of their upcoming bill payments or even enable them in travel bundling their itineraries. Google has officially given out this information via its blog account and has mentioned that these 2 new settings for Gmail shall be released in the nearing weeks itself. These two settings will offer smart features and help users in controlling their data in Gmail, Chat and Meet and other Google applications.
Users can enable/disable these options as per their own convenience in their Gmail settings. These new settings can be disabled by the users for preventing Google from using their data for providing them with personalized experiences. Users might not receive automatic categorization emails into their social, primary and promotions inboxes if they choose to disallow smart features in Chat, Meet and Gmail from using their data. This action will even disable the users from using smart compose option while writing an email. Users might also not be able to access travel reservations, package tracking, or view summary cards for shopping.

Disabling personalizing option with Chat, Meet, and Gmail will disallow the Google Assistant from sending bill reminders to users and will even disable Google Maps from offering restaurant reservations.
