Popular social media networking app, Facebook shall soon roll out its long-awaited Dark Mode feature on Android smartphones.
Jane Manchun Wong in association with the Facebook’s official spokespersons was the first ones to make this announcement via a tweet. A spokesperson from the company confirmed that the Dark theme feature will be rolled out globally for Android users anytime soon. He stated that “we are aware that our Android users have been awaiting the introduction of Dark Mode feature since a long time and now they will not have to wait longer. Users will be able to see this feature in their Facebook Android app settings as we introduce this feature globally.”

Even Facebook owned Whatsapp is enabled with the Dark theme support and now finally it’s the time for Facebook to roll out this much-awaited option on Android smartphones globally.
As per reports, Facebook’s Dark Theme support will have a grayscale layout with white colour accents for icons and logos unlike the typical black colour layout.
Enabling the Dark Mode feature will allow the Android smartphone users enjoy Facebook using minimal screen glare in low lightings as the requirement of brightness, contrast, and vibrancy shall be lower in this option.

The official roll out of this app is not yet confirmed but it is expected that Facebook will go dark for Android smartphone users as soon as possible.
