Apple iOS 13 is Now Live

After so many revelations around the round finally, Apple has officially released iOS 13 for its users. The update was announced at WWDC in June and iPad users still have to wait for some time for the iPadOS update. Here’s what it is, and how it will work, what it does and, of course, how to install it. This update surely brings many much-needed changes in the features of iOS for life improvements. The update is presently rolling out and is in the Settings app or you can also download the update by way of simply plugging your device into iTunes for a wired update.

iOS 13 Compatible Devices

At present Apple is implementing a queue system to make sure high-speed downloads once you’re at the front of the line. The Apple iOS 13 is compatible with iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and the seventh-generation iPod touch. In case you have an iPad and you are looking for iPadOS 13, then you have to wait for few more days as it will be available on September 30.

How to install iOS 13?

To install the software you first need to, backup your device. Make certain your iCloud backup is up to date by opening the Settings application on your iPhone or iPad device and then click on your account information at the top section and tap on your device name. Moreover, you can also plug your Apple device into your computer to do a manual backup in iTunes.

While downloading the latest software don’t forget to encrypt your backup in iTunes. This option is much safer if somebody hacks your computer. Encryption helps you to save your data and this way, you don’t have to reconnect again to all your online accounts.

After applying all these steps, you should go to the Settings app to start the process get in the queue. Now navigate to ‘Settings,’ and choose ‘General’ and then ‘Software Update.’ Then you will see ‘Update Requested’ option that will then automatically start downloading the available software.

A Quick Rundown of What’s New in iOS 13 Update

The latest update of Apple is available this time, in addition to the dark mode feature offered by this update; it feels like every single feature has been improved with some quality updates. The Photos application features will be more interesting now with a smart look, auto-playing live photos and videos, and a more elegant design.

This version of Apple has a huge focus on privacy options as well, thanks to the bunch of privacy pop-ups for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi consent, a new signup choice called “Sign in with Apple” and background location tracking features. Apple users can now enjoy a classier look of Apple Maps called Look Around. In addition to all this, several apps have also been updated, such as Messages, Mail, Health, menstrual cycle tracking, Reminders, Files with desktop-like features with a brand new version.

So it is good to wait for few hours and download the software when there is less competition.
