Whatsapp has recently introduced “Bulk delete items” feature for enabling users to manage their app storage well. This feature will make it possible for the users to delete bulk items from their Whatsapp application and free up its storage space. Both Android and iOS users will be able to use this exciting feature on their Whatsapp application.
This leading instant messaging application has finally rolled out this interesting feature for its users after having been working on its development since a long time now. Facebook-owned Whatsapp officially announced the release of this new feature along with a video on its twitter handle and even shared a step-by –step process for the users to easily locate the same on their Whatsapp application.
Users can use this feature by:
- Opening their respective Whatsapp app and going to the “Settings” option
- Clicking on “Manage Storage and Data” option
- Tapping on “Manage Storage” option
Users can even learn about the space taken by each Whatsapp chat on the application. Bulk delete items feature will make it easier for the users to identify and get rid of the unnecessary data. Larger files and forwarded messages will be highlighted in separate sections for users to easily identify the essential data from the non-essential ones.
This feature will let users delete items from their Whatsapp application and not from their phones. The use of this feature will enable users to delete items from their app storage only. Users will have to follow the regular process of deleting items from their smartphones if they want to clean their phone storage.
