Gmail Scheduled Emails just got easier with Google’s update announcement

On the 15^th birth anniversary of Gmail, Google announced the release of new updates for its email platform used by millions of people every day. It seemed to most of us that it would be faking just like we felt 15 years ago, with the launch of Gmail. With this a great feature of Gmail related to inbox which is Google’s inbox app is going to end for users. Some of the most awaited notification includes the ability to schedule emails and the AI driven smart compose tool which will help users in composing their emails.

Email Scheduling if of great help

It is of great help for most of the companies around the world asking their email marketers to email on a specific occasion. With email scheduling, a company can now use it smartly. Greeting your customer on his first successful year with the company compels a user to use your products and services again.

For users as well, it is of utmost importance. Users like us get stuck in work and do not have time to compose an email at a specific time. With it, users can schedule on which date they want the email to be sent form their account. Setting up a date and time is provided by this feature along with a one-time ability to undo it as well. Moreover, this feature is available for both mobile and desktop platforms.

AI driven Smart compose feature

It took almost an year for Google to launch this feature on mobile platform. Earlier in the month of may last year, Google initially announced this Smart feature which uses AI technology. With it users need not type in the complete email, instead users can type a few words and Gmail will suggest some phrases which you might be interested in.

It was in October last year when Google revealed that this feature will be brought to the Gmail mobile application soon. Now this feature will be available for all the android devices while the iOS users will have to wait for some more time. The availability of this feature will now not only restricted to English but also for languages like Italian, Spanish, French, and Portuguese as well.

Both these features are of great help for users with each having its own uniqueness. The email scheduling is for keeping minute details with you and scheduling it to be delivered at the desired time. While the Smart feature will allow companies to frame the drafts of emails with ease. Smart feature also allows a user to choose the subject line. Smart Compose will now recommend a user with a subject line based on the content of the email. Jacob Bank, Director of Product Management, G Suite said in a statement that, “We want to make it easier to respect everyone’s digital well-being, so we’re adding a new feature to Gmail that allows you to choose when an email should be sent.”
