Bollywood celebrities have now come together to spread information on COVID-19, after appealing to their followers to keep themselves protected from the novel Coronavirus on social media. The actors star in a special video that aims to inform people on how to stay healthy during this period.

Several industry top stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, and Ranveer Singh have come together to spread knowledge about the novel Coronavirus for a special video. The film, in partnership with the Maharashtra government, is an initiative by Rohit Shetty Picturez, featuring actors appealing to people to walk around the pandemic with caution and protection.

The video begins with Amitabh Bachchan introducing himself and explaining the guidelines to obey to be protected from the novel Coronavirus. Many actors then want to ask one by one what steps can be taken to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.

The clip features actors who send out crucial dos and don’ts in pandemic times.

Actor Anil Kapoor says, it is time to pay attention to personal hygiene by frequently washing hands with soap, while Madhuri stresses on the use of tissue or handkerchief to cover the mouth while coughing or sneezing and disposing of them in a closed jar.

Ranveer says, “If there is no facility to wash hands at a spot, and then apply alcohol sanitizer in your hand.”

Actress Shilpa Shetty recommends against subscribing to any fat diet and asks for increased nutritional intake to improve immunity.

“Stop unnecessary journeys, keep a distance of one meter from those who are sick,” says Varun Dhawan in the video.

Arjun Kapoor advises to take “special care of children and the elderly” because they have the highest risks of being infected.

Ayushmann Khurrana says people can work from home whenever possible and is not calling for crowding public places.

“Never brush your eyes and face without washing your hands. When you experience cough, nausea or breathlessness, don’t get in contact with anyone. See the doctor immediately, ‘says Alia Bhatt.

Devgn says one step the people are taking towards protection “may save many lives.”

“If by following these laws, every person participates, then we can all avoid the risk. Keep well, and stay safe, “adds Akshay.

The cases include 32 foreign nationals including 17 from Italy, 3 from the Philippines, two from the Netherlands, one from Canada, one from Indonesia and one from Singapore.
