Popular video streaming mobile app, Netflix rolls out yet another new feature for surprising its users with an amazing experience on the app. Netflix is testing a thoughtful feature that goes by the name “Kids Activity Report’’ for enabling the parents learn and understand what their teenage kids have been streaming on the platform.
Parents can expect this report to include a teardown of the type of content that their kids are watching on the Netflix app apart from learning about their favourite character, genre, and recommendations that they have been getting based on the content they have been streaming on the app.
Parents can also expect the roll out of a new “Family Profile” setting on the Netflix app that will enable them in collating all the family-friendly content at one place.
As of now the “kids activity report” is started to roll out for selective users as a part of testing and the success of the same will lead to its global roll out for all the users. This activity report even sends users with epic jokes on a day to day basis, quiz games based on the kids most favourite characters for parents to play with their kids, and colouring pages that are based on the favourite Netflix characters for the users to print them out.
