Netflix may soon roll out a new feature for its Android users. This subscription based media streaming company keeps on attracting its targeted users by introducing new and interesting features.
As per the reports, Netflix could soon add a Background Audio Playback option for its Android users. This audio-only feature is currently in the testing process hidden in an APK build as spotted by the XDA developers.
This feature will supposedly work on Android devices for now and will enable the users to listen to the audio of a movie or a show or a web series even when their mobile screens are turned off. The addition of this amazing feature will also allow users to save a lot of mobile data.

Android users will soon be able to enjoy this audio playback option for background listening. However, it cannot be confirmed whether Netflix would add this audio-only feature in a stable build. Netflix application currently allows Android users to simultaneously work on their devices while watching a Netflix show by using the PiP (picture in picture) mode.
