It was decades ago when Microsoft started designing software for mobile devices. Not long before two years, Microsoft gave up on developing software for mobile devices making everyone feel that google and apple had won the operating-system war.
On Wednesday, Microsoft revealed its new dual-screen smartphone, taking its rival google’s android software for mobile devices which crosses over 2.5 billion devices around the globe.
During an event on Wednesday in New York, Microsoft flaunted its new surface duo- a dual-screen smartphone and another variant in the category of dual screen computer called the surface neo.
The surface duo supports a two 5.6 inches display that swings 360 degrees around a hinge which combines to make in total of a 5.6-inch display. The company touted some features on the smartphone. Viewing your inbox on one half of the device and responding to a specific email on the other.
Microsoft never anticipated the importance of smartphones would become and how customers would really use them in the future. For most people now smart mobile devices became the primary means of accessing the internet.
Microsoft, in starting built CE for personal digital assistants in 1996 and following with Windows mobile in the year 2000. The software was not compatible with the touchscreens, and apps were crammed to fit smaller screens.

While the competitor Apple thought differently and used its agenda to “wait and conquer” and launched its first iPhone in year 2007- a full touchscreen smartphone in which people can access a music player and internet and was handheld.
Another rival google followed, with first android phone—T-MOBILE G1 in September 2008.
Windows phones are trying for around 20 years now to make a move at the time when it is getting harder for companies to sell pricey smartphones.
Samsung launched its Samsung fold in September this year which is really praised because of the built of the phone.
The con which came by the sources is that you may notice a crease at the center of the main screen but it is a natural characteristic of the screen.
Apple has already revealed its Iflex to sources and let us see what apple provides in the near future in the related tech.
Now let’s see the built and notch which Microsoft provided in its new launch.
