Google Pay will soon get rid of its peer to peer payments on its web application in January 2021. This online payment application will supposedly add a transfer fee for quick fund transfers. Users can now use Google Pay for managing payments and sending money online via the app or pay.google.com.
Google has recently rolled out a notice on its web application that will officially notify the users regarding the fact that the pay.google.com might no longer function starting January 2021. Users will not be able to use the site from January 2021 for sending and receiving money online from other users.
Peer to peer payments facility will soon end but users can still use current payment methods on the web applicatioItGoogle Pay might soon add a nominal fee on quick money transfers.
It might take a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 3 business days for the users to transfer funds to their bank accounts. Transfer made via debit cards is usually instant and users might be required to pay a nominal fee of $.31 or 1.5 percent (highest of the two) whenever they transfer money using a debit card.

Last week Google rolled out several competent features in the US for both iOS and Android users. The company is currently working with reliable financial institutions for creating Plex, an upcoming mobile-first bank account that will supposedly get integrated into the Google Pay.
Conclusion: Google Pay is all set to get its peer to peer payments facility removed from its web app in January 2021. This digital wallet app by Google will also charge a nominal fee on instant fund transfers.
