Tesla has contravened labor laws decided by The National Labor Relations Board; as they discharged one union activist. This incident more instigates when in 2018, when Elon Musk had tweeted, nothing can stop the Tesla team at their car production from voting union. The union can do anything they wanted but he asked why they need to pay union dues and quit stock options without such reason.
The federal agency has lead Tesla to say Musk to delete his displease tweet and again offer back a job to Richard Ortiz, the fired employee. Not only that, but this agency also stated that Tesla needs to give compensation money to Ortiz for his earning loss, profits, and unfavorable tax consequences that outcome from his termination.
This worker was a part of Tesla’s organizing campaign, namely Fair Future at Tesla. During this campaign time, Tesla opined their business must stay out of any union. However, Musk had published a tweet comment on his personal Twitter account, where he carries ten million followers who took it as a threat. Tesla takes Elon Musk’s that tweet as official organizational communication, as revealed in its economic failings.
Apart from that, Tesla also needs to amend a confidentiality agreement that sends to workers as this matter of course. Previously, the organization told workers they were not permitted to communicate with any media without any such explicit written permission. However, the law of national labor usually secures workers at the time of communication between media and them about this working condition, terms and conditions of employment, and labor disputes.
