Leading transportation network mobile app, Uber is soon to introduce a new Reserve feature for its US based users to schedule cab rides up to thirty days in advance. The company will supposedly release this feature in not less than twenty US cities including Chicago, Miami, Seattle, Houston and New York.
Using this Reserve feature, riders will also be able to favour certain drivers of their choice. The roll out of this new feature is expected to take place within a matter of few weeks. The company has officially announced this news and has even mentioned that the new Reserve feature is as an expansion of its on-demand model and it will enable the passengers to select specific drivers who offer car seats or accept pets in their cabs.
The addition of this upcoming feature is introduced in response to the surveys conducted by the company. As per the company executives, a lot of users expressed their interests in the introduction of an option that would let them book cab rides in advance.

This Reserve feature shall be initially limited to only premium cab segments and might later expand for all.
