The CEO of Palantir, Alex Karp earned compensation money of about $1.1 billion in the previous year. Fundamentally he earned through different equity awards admitted shortly before his software developing organization came public. On Thursday in a proxy filing, Palantir stated that a bulk of Karp’s pay was merged to alternatives for stock awards worth $797.9 million along with another $296.4 million.
An equity incentive scheme results in the outsized package agreed upon the previous year, transferring Karp 141 million alternatives that start endowing in 2021 August. In each quarter the equity will endow up to 2.5 percent. A year earlier Karp’s 2020 payment was raised from $12 million. Additionally, in stock awards, he earned $1.1 million in salary and other different compensation, including personal security, tax advice, and chartered aircraft utilization, totaling around $3.1 million.
Karp and Peter Thiel along with others founded Palantir in 2003 to offer data analytics applications and services to the community of intelligence.
