WhatsApp has recently launched a brand new feature where you can now ignore Archived chats even after getting a new message on WhatsApp. Till now, the Archived chat folder reappeared in the primary chat list the moment you get a new message but now the Archived folder will remain tucked away within Archived Chat Folder.

The good thing is, if you don’t find this feature helpful, you can easily roll back to earlier settings and continue with the fun as usual. You will also not receive any further notifications for Archived chats until you are talked about or replied to. Here is how you can archive chats in WhatsApp:
- In the CHATS tab, faucet and maintain the chat you need to conceal.
- Tap the archive button on the prime of the display.
- To archive all chats, in the CHATS tab, tap More choices > Settings.
- Tap Chats > Chat historical past > Archive all chats.
