WhatsApp has recently rolled out a new feature where users can join a group video call in between if they have missed it when the call started. The feature aims to ensure that users don’t miss the opportunity to talk to their family and friends just because they were not available at the time of call. Users will see a “tap to join” option in their call logs if they have missed a call right from the beginning. Just like Skype, now you can join or leave a video call in between. The feature will surely add to the value that WhatsApp offers to its users. Here is what you have to do to access this newly added feature:
- Open WhatsApp and tap on calls.
- You will see a “tap to join” option on the top of your call log of the group call that you just missed.
- Tap on the group call and press “Join” to enter the group call
WhatsApp is currently working on various current features to make it better than the best messaging platform for users where they can enjoy the real fun of social media at its best. Prior to this, the messaging app giant also worked on some UI elements in the chat notifications on Android. It has also changed the tint of app’s name including “Reply” and “Mark as read” to blue in the dark theme.
