Your Facebook apps are soon going to change a bit as the social network giant looks to make things as simple as possible for its users worldwide. Facebook will soon make some necessary changes in Facebook and in other subsidiary apps to make them more comprehensive and simpler. These changes are aimed at decluttering the available settings and making it easier for users to find what they are looking for. In short, Facebook is attempting to keep it simple.

Hiere the Beat Mobile App Development Company

For now, there are 10 sections in the Settings section of Facebook which includes Accounts settings, Security, Privacy, Facebook information, Ads stories, Notifications, Shortcuts, News Feed settings, and Media & contacts. Facebook is planning to reduce these settings and bring some related sections under single roof. Facebook mentioned in its blog post, “whether it is managing the ads which people see, adjusting sharing settings, or curating audience for posts, people should be allowed to do it easily and without thinking too much on it.

It has grouped all the sections into six broad categories each of which contains several related settings. The list includes Account, Preferences, Audience and Visibility, Permissions, Your Information, and Community Standards and Legal Policies.

The company also added in its post that, “We’ve also made some improvements to the settings search function, making it easier to find the settings you need if you don’t know the exact name or location of the setting you’re looking for”. The company has already started rolling out the updates for iOS, Android, mobile web, and FB Lite apps.
