Apple is exploring technologies to launch some new features in its air pods. The features will include correct posture, body temperature and enhance listening. Its earlier attempt for air pods as a hearing aid (conversation boost) was not approved by FDA and this time, the company is leaving no stone unturned to come up with innovative technologies that can aid hearing capabilities along with offering authentic information on posture and temperature.
As per reports, it might take a year or even two to launch such features as the company seems to be just exploring new technologies rather than working seriously on integrating them with its air pods. The company has been marketing its products as their major strength claiming them to be health and fitness applications and most of the attention has been focused for its Apple Watch series.
The company is looking forward to add sensor technology in its different product range to monitor blood pressure, temperature, sleep quality, blood oxygen and blood sugar also. It becomes a quite complex task when health features are integrated to some commercial products as coming out clean on medical regulatory standards is a tough nut to crack.
Just like in June, it was reported that Apple watch would add a feature of temperature monitoring but the function never came in existence till the Apple watch 7 was launched in September.
