Microsoft has recently released its new Windows 11 version with several advanced features and updated design. The company has made its best efforts to offer a unique look to its latest Windows version along with some user-friendly and advanced features into it.
There is a new Snipping Tool that gets features from Microsoft’s Snip & Sketch app. If you press the “Win,” “Shift” and “S” keys on your keyboard simultaneously, you will activate the software and then be allowed to select the part of your screen you want to capture. Once the screenshot is captured, you will get various tools that will allow you to edit and annotate the image. The tool is also getting a dark mode.
Microsoft is updating the Mail and Calendar apps in Windows 11. These apps now feel more like a natural extension of the operating system with the new rounded corners “and other adjustments.” Moreover, the Calculator app is receiving an update too. It gets a dark mode. Plus, the company has rewritten the software in C#. This could allow more people to contribute to its development over on GitHub.
Microsoft will allow you to run Android apps natively on the OS. The company has partnered with Amazon to offer Android apps support. Hence, you will have to log in to your Amazon account to be able to download Android apps on Windows 11. Further, you will see Microsoft Teams integrated into the OS. Microsoft aims to offer a one-stop solution in messaging and video calls for users. You can now access Teams directly from the Windows 11 taskbar.
